My Story

I’m a Carolina girl, by way of a northern family. I love reading, writing, sunrise walks on the beach, plants and coffee.

I go way back. 
I wrote my first blog post
 in June of 2010.

It all started with a poem and a one-page ‘blogspot’ website. Over the years, my writing evolved into telling stories about my son, which evolved into publishing books of his quotes. Some of my best writing is shared here; most stemmed from writing prompts. 

“My Daddy” is the star of the ‘Categories’ and “The Christopher Chronicles” is the star of the ‘Tags’.

Along the writing and tweaking way, I learned to design websites on this platform and now my website serves a dual purpose.
